The treatment involves a tube made of natural ingredients being placed in the ear. When the tube is lit it creates a vacuum which dislodges sediment from within the ear. It helps many conditions including - Tinnitus, compacted ear wax, Sinusitis, post flying ear pressure, Glue Ear, sore throats and snoring. The treatment is deeply relaxing and is combined with a pressure point face massage.

Reflexology -

This is a relaxing and popular treatment that is based around the reflex points on the soles, tops and sides of feet which all correspond to different areas of our bodies. These areas of your feet can be seen as a map of the body. The Therapist will use specialised massage techniques using thumbs, fingers and knuckles on the reflex points which is believed to help ease and correct imbalances within the body. Benefits include:

  • Improving both sleep and mood
  • Generating a sense of well-being and good health

Auricular Reflexology -

As with the feet the human body is mapped on the ears. Working acupressure points on the ear just like the feet can bring about feelings of well being and balance.

The practice of working on the ears can be traced back hundreds of years throughout the world.

Small seeds can be placed on the appropriate acupressure points of the ears so that clients can wear them at home and continue to receive the benefits of the treatment. Seeds can also be placed on the ears after any other treatment at The Avenue Retreat so the benefits of Auricular Reflexology can be felt by everyone. It is a completely safe and painless treatment.
